Event Details

Clarence House is the official residence of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall and the home of the Princes William and Harry. From 1953 to 2002 it was the home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

This exclusive guided tour will include the Cornwall Room, not available on a normal day visit. The room is hung with 22 of the Prince of Wales's watercolours painted between 1998 and 2006.

Following the tour with an expert guide, we shall enjoy a glass of champagne and a view of the enchanting garden.

Clarence House, which stands beside St James's Palace, was built between 1825 and 1827 to the designs of John Nash for Prince William Henry, Duke of Clarence. He lived there as King William IV from 1830 until 1837. During its history, the house has been altered, reflecting the changes in occupancy over nearly two centuries.
